1. GO OUTSIDE!
Sans the nude party. A typical scene in the Adirondacks, can’t wait to go hiking!

  3. Just made a quickie display type “NORTH” as a companion piece for the ADK image I made a little while ago. Everyone, come to New York and hike its mountains (which are so much better the Scotland’s munros).

  4. Adk’s, you look so good.

  5. Making some type images to fill up my portfolio and for practice. Everyone knows the best part of New York is the Adirondacks!

  6. This is the completed third panel measuring in at 36 inches by 84 inches (also known as 3’ x 7’). Big. So Pocomoonshine summit is depicted in the middle with Pepper the Border Collie checking out the sights. The foreground forest does not exist in real life, there is no higher point after the fire tower. It’s one of the easier climbs in the ADK, and not even part of the 46 high peaks (but it’s still one of my favourites. There is a section of rock face on the trail that you can climb into and be surrounded by a mammoth slab wedge. Now that the train is getting closer it was about time to give it detail, the Amtrac rail line through the ADK was voted by Nat Geo as one of the most scenic in the entire country!

  7. Third in the series of large scale images depicting the great outdoors of the Adirondack Park in upstate New York. This sketch is the same size ratio wise as the last one, 3 feet by 7 feet. Focusing on Pocomoonshine, the easiest hike around and most racist. There is a large rock formation on the side of the mountain that is dubbed “The Indian’s Nose” because it juts out like a parrot’s beak. Classic New York! (Nose not shown).

  8. Second piece in the long ADK project. This depicts a scene on Olympic mountain Whiteface with it’s super stylish gondolas. Pepper makes another cameo and I made fictitious towns dotting the landscape. You can think of them as Lake Placid, or Saranac Lake, or whatever town is near the mountain. The lake itself is Lake Placid and all the mountains surrounding it are perfect for hiking.

  9. Progress captures of the second piece. The whole idea was to exclusively use Green, Purple, and Orange in different arrangements for all four images. However, the composition was looking way too discombobulated and colour ugly to fully pull off. Eventually I went with green to purple for the landscapes with orange as the main accent for rocks and mechanics only.
