    Much to my friends disappointment, Fort William is not present.

  3. Behind the fountain and completely hidden by trees and fenced off across the river is the old Band stand. Apparently it used to be in use a little while ago but then closed for budget reasons or whatever. Now it’s dilapidated and very gloomy with all the dead trees and leaves around it. A rather creepy place at night, I’d walk on the opposite side of Kelvin Way when making the trek to Great Western.

During winter I built a rather large igloo beside it with the help of some classmates. Needless to say the igloo didn’t survive the night thanks to some Neds and buckfast.

I used it as a marker to judge where I was distance wise in the city, because you can see the tower from just about anywhere in Glasgow. Apparently Hogwarts is supposed to have been inspired by this building, which is completely believable.
